How do I sign up to VIM?

Easy – you'll automatically join VIM after you make your first order. If you already have an account and have previously made purchases using it, all points from any purchases made in your current Membership Cycle will be automatically credited to your account.

How do I earn status points?

Well… you’ve probably already worked it out, but you earn points by buying wine. Mo’ wine, mo’ points. Earn enough, and you’ll get promoted into the next loyalty tier – the higher your tier, the greater the benefits!

The number of points earned on each transaction is shown on your order confirmation email and/or your account details page.

FYI, you don’t earn points on shipping costs, vouchers, credits, or on refunded orders.

Do my status points expire?

Status Credits are valid for your current Membership Cycle. They reset at the beginning of each new cycle.

How do I retain my current tier, or get promoted to the next tier?

Earn enough status points within your Membership Cycle, and you’ll advance to the next membership tier – read more information on the tiers here. Basically: the higher the tier, the more benefits you receive.

If you earn enough points for a promotion, you will be promoted to the next tier instantly! That means you can enjoy that status and its benefits for the remainder of that Membership Cycle, as well as your next Membership Cycle.

Retaining a tier for your next Membership Cycle is easier than earning it! Once earned, you need fewer points to retain a tier.

What is my Anniversary Date and Membership Cycle?

Your Anniversary Date is the date that you first created your Vinomofo account.

Your Membership Cycle always starts on your Anniversary Date. The Cycle spans from that start date until the day before that date in the following year. For example, if your Anniversary Date is 1 April, then your Membership Cycle will span from 1 April to 31 March the following year.

What happens if I don't earn enough points to retain my current Tier?

If you don't reach the Status Credit threshold for your current tier before your Membership Cycle ends, you will move down one tier when your current Membership Cycle ends.

Note: You can only move down a maximum of one tier per Membership Cycle.

Where can I see what tier I’m on and how many points I have?

Easy! Go to the VIM tab in your Account page.

Select the

icon in the top right corner of the page, then select “VIM”.

How do I access my birthday or anniversary credit?

Birthday vouchers will be sent a week before your birthday, and anniversary vouchers will be sent two weeks before your Membership anniversary. These vouchers are valid for 30 days.

In your VIM account page, you’ll see a section on the bottom right that contains your benefits. Select the icon next to ‘Your birthday gift' to copy the coupon code, and then paste it in the checkout when you’re ready to complete your order.

Your VIM coupons refresh once every Membership Cycle. They only become available around the time of your birthday or anniversary.

I’m a club member – do my club cases add to my status points?

Yes, they do! Reach out to us if you have any issues with earning points on your club orders.

My tier status is about to expire. Can I pause it?

We get it – life happens. We can pause tier statuses in certain cases. Reach out to us at team@vinomofo.com.

Other than for tier status, can I redeem my points for anything else?

Points earned as part of the VIM program are used to retain your current VIM tier or for promotion to the next tier. They cannot be redeemed for anything else.

My status points are about to expire or I’m closing my account – can I give my status points to a friend?

You cannot transfer status points to someone else.

Placing Orders

I bought a delicious case of wine and didn’t get my points. What gives?

Email us at team@vinomofo.com with your order number, and we’ll fix it up for you!

I’m trying to checkout with a limited time offer, but I can’t use my Free Shipping/Birthday/Anniversary coupon at checkout for some reason. Help!

If you still have valid coupons and can’t use them at checkout for whatever reason, check out with your current basket and then email us your order number at team@vinomofo.com. We’ll either refund or add a credit to your account for the shipping.

I just made an order. How long will it take for the points to show up on my account?

Your points status balance usually updates within 24 hours. If you’re still not seeing your points after this time, contact us.

I checked out as a guest on an order and used a different email – how do I add those points to my account?

Send us an email with your order number, and we can credit the status points to your account. If you don’t have an account yet, create one with the email that you used on the order, and the points will be credited to you. Easy!

What happens to my points if I return an order?

Refunded orders will cause any status points earned via that order to be subtracted from your account.

Do dealer orders earn points?

You bet!

Can I use both my birthday and anniversary coupons in the same order?

No – you can only apply one coupon at a time to any order.
