2x Farmer's Leap Dead Letter Office Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Padthaway — Australia
Padthaway is known for creating wines that are genuinely a pleasure to drink, that's pretty much the perfect description of the Dead Letter Office. A true crowd-pleaser, this unmistakably Australian expression of shiraz has everything you'd expect from a producer of this quality. Full bodied, full flavoured with peppery notes, dark fruits and a roundness brought about by 15 months in 100% French oak barrels - this is a wine for sharing, and sharing confidently. A real people pleaser.

2x Hollick Red Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Coonawarra — Australia
Estate fruit from the famed Hollick vineyards in Coonawarra, this is cab sauv like Aussies know and love. Certainly, a little bit of age behind this number has helped to fill out the mid palate, making it rich and dense with threads of fennel and mint throughout. It's very hard not to enjoy this wine- and we're speaking from experience.

2x Sorby Adams Mytikas Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Adelaide — Australia
From one of Vinomofo's favourite ever producers, this is a shiraz everyone needs in the rack. Vibrant, flavourful and deeply varietal. A great little wine to reach for a little later in the night, a crowd-pleasing cellar defender with a little more to it than meets the eye.
A beautiful brick-red colour with energetic aromas of mulberry, raspberry liquorice and allspice. This is a wine that overdelivers on price and quality. The palate is wonderfully ripe and rich with smooth tannins, a rounded mouthfeel and a surprisingly lengthy finish. A fantastic little weekday warrior or BBQ red with tremendous versatility. A great addition to any shiraz lovers wine rack. In relation to the name of this particular range, "The peak of Mount Olympus where our Adelaide GI grapegrower George’s family originated, is called Mytikas. It also means “nose” which is quite fitting for these fragrant styles which are full of vibrancy and flavour". Honestly, we couldn't of put it better ourselves.

Coonawarra — Australia
On the nose, expect enticing aromas of ripe black fruits, intermingled with hints of cocoa and subtle spices, alluding to the rich story woven into every sip. The palate is a true revelation - an opulent symphony of flavors unfolds as velvety smooth blackberry and plum dance gracefully across the tongue. The masterful touch of partial new oak maturation, around one third, adds a delightful dimension, seamlessly integrated into the wine's profile.

2x St John's Road Motley Bunch GSM 2018
Red — GSM
Barossa Valley — Australia
We love how each variety plays the perfect role in this blend - from the savoury feel of the grenache, to the flesh and deeper flavours of the mataro, to the structure that shiraz delivers to bring it all home. There's ample amount to love about this drop, but we're really applauding it for its all-round friendliness. Three cheers to GSM, any night of the week.

2x Woodstock Deep Sands Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Red cherries and plums are in abundance here, elegant white pepper notes and a structure that will see this bad boy drinking well from now until 2032, and that's a conservative estimate.
This is what happens in the really good vintages. High yields of high quality fruit has meant that 2022 McLaren Vale wines, even in this price range, are absolutely remarkable. Deep sands allow for vine roots to extend down through layers of earth while enjoying relative ease in their environment. The result is complexity through varied soil types and depths, and fullness/richness as the grapes are allowed a long, healthy ripening period. This is beautifully blue fruited and full of pillowy tannins that excite the palate. A delightful drinking experience from go to whoa.
You’d pay $20 full price.
