Why do we love this case?
What an absolute belter of a selection! All of the best labels from Haselgrove in one spot! We've been obsessed with this producer for years, and they continue to impress us with some of the best-selling and most re-ordered shiraz we stock.
This range has it all -ranging from lifted, ripe red fruits and cherries with impeccably well-integrated oak work, to deep, rich, dark brooding fruit with oodles of dark chocolate and rich, silky texture. There's an incredible amount of cellaring potential here too - so get stuck in, or don't and let the case be for the next 15 years (if you can resist!)
This is a mix for the ages, and at this price, is impossible to pass up.
1x Haselgrove The Lear Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
One of our bestselling wines with a bang (for your buck). Vintage after vintage, this wine has been awarded 95+pts, proof’s in the pudding and mofos have gone mad for this shiraz. It’s rich, full-bodied and brimming with luxurious McLaren Vale fruity-chocolatey notes. There’s some of the very best grapes in the region here, held together by a generous touch of French oak. Drink now or cellar for the next decade and a half. From experience, though, you’ll crack this out well before then. Whether you open it or not, it’s the lowest risk investment you’ll make this year… and the returns are delicious.
You’d pay $100 full price.

1x Haselgrove Tusail Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Does it get any better than this? McLaren Vale shiraz with 96pts? From a bloody outstanding producer like Haselgrove? We say, say no more!! But if you’re not convinced yet, it is: 12 days on skins plunging thrice daily for full-throttle texture and flavour (not to mention the colour and tannins!), 20 months in French oak with all parcels kept separate and only blended to the highest standard. The vibrant core of wild berries, rich, savoury dark chocolate, and cedar notes complement. Sounds pretty good to us, are you convinced yet?
You’d pay $60 full price.

1x Haselgrove Il Padrone Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Lovers of classic Vale shiraz will adore the Il Padrone! It’s big, rich & round (we’re salivating already and offers loads of inky goodness to get lost in. There’s plush, chewy berries with hints of peppery spice and leather that float intriguingly across the palate. Plums, blueberries and juicy black cherries dominate the fruit spectrum, in that inimitable Vale dark coffee-cake profile. It’ll get even more interesting in a few years’ time, but I, for one, won’t be able to keep my hands off it.
You’d pay $55 full price.

1x Haselgrove Bella Vigna Reserve Parcel Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Amongst a few ripping McLaren Vale wines- many of them shiraz- we sat at the tasting bench in awe of this reserve parcel from Haselgrove. This is the kind of wine that you might take for granted amongst a deep sea of shiraz, but we're here to tell you that you should be doing anything but. This is excellent value, in fact Wine Buyer Pete exclaimed "This is a whole lot of wine for the price". A focused nose and palate of blue fruits mingling with chocolate and spiced fruit cake notes. The finish on this beauty is long, but the happy feeling you'll get from drinking a wine this good is certainly longer.
You’d pay $50 full price.

1x Haselgrove Cul Stor Shiraz Cabernets 2021
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Multiple vintages of Haselgrove's Cul Stor shiraz blend have rushed into our warehouse and zoomed straight back out and to your front door faster than you can say ‘shiraz blended with cab sav and a splash of cab franc’. At its core, we have all the plush dark berries, plums and chocolatey goodness that you’d expect from Mclaren Vale. But the blend of cabernets is what lifts this drop way above entry level, firm tannins and a liveliness on the back palate provide wonderful length and serious structure; perfect to pair with your good old fashioned Sunday roast lamb with all the trimmings.
You’d pay $45 full price.

1x Haselgrove Bella Vigna Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
This producer has to be one of the most consistently excellent wineries in McLaren Vale. Many of their wines get scores in the high-90s year after year and we reckon this wine may have the same fate, so were happy to get in before the reviews. The flavour’s there and the points will come. This one is McLaren Vale to a tee with all the dark, ripe berries, chocolate and spice you could want. It’s full-bodied and absolutely delightful. Trust us, mofo, this stuff is awesome.
You’d pay $30 full price.
