If ever there was a grape capable of magic, it’s pinot noir. Little wonder it’s key to many of the most expensive wines in the world. Luckily, there’s none of that pomposity here.

Why do we love this case?

Here’s a mix covering some of the very best regions in the world. From perfumed and pretty to dark and intense, there’s something for every occasion and every food pairing.

Included in this case:

1x Providence Wines Pinot Noir 2017

Red — Pinot Noir

Tasmania — Australia

From the oldest established vineyard in Tasmania, the depth and complexity of this pinot is something to behold. Age has not wearied this wine, rather elevated and invigorated the intricacies. A real pinot drinker's pinot. Story goes that the current owner of this label tried one singular bottle of the wine from this vineyard and decided to buy the entire place right away. Given that the vineyard changed hands just after this wine was released, we like to think it was this exact pinot that the owner fell so deeply in love with. A stemmy, but not underripe wine with subtle earthiness, pristine fruit and well-integrated oak. The mouthfeel is jaw dropping (don't spit your wine) and flavours of red currant and black cherries linger on the palate for way longer than they have a right to. A well rounded, well thought out, well aged wine. Delicious.

You’d pay $80 full price.

1x Austin's Wines Moorabool Valley Pinot Noir 2023

Red — Pinot Noir

Geelong — Australia

A bright, primary fruited wine with vibrant red cherry and soft plummy notes. This is essentially a multi-clonal blend of the very best barrels available, the overall treatment ends up being about 20% new french oak allowing for a complex and rounded wine with a beautifully silky tannin structure. Age will bring complexity and perhaps some more savoury aspects. Drinking now will show pure, concentrated fruit and seriously high quality oak. A fantastic example of very skilful winemaking.

You’d pay $50 full price.

1x Twin Valleys Reserve Pinot Noir 2023

Red — Pinot Noir

Victoria — Australia

This is a really smart little wine. A lot of red fruit on display, some rich, ripe raspberry and strawberries lead into more densely laden cranberry and red cherry. The tannin is fine grain and delicate - pretty but textural and providing nice, subtle grip. While this is certifiable cool climate, it doesn't want for weight. The palate is satisfying and broad with classic cool climate acidity giving it focus and drive through a fine boned, prickly finish that lasts and lasts.

You’d pay $35 full price.

1x Jericho Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir 2023

Red — Pinot Noir

Adelaide Hills — Australia

Life doesn't have to be so serious all the time. There's a time and place for this pinot: anytime, anywhere. Juicy, confected fruit and a nice little lick of spice creates a wine that's not overly serious but *completely delicious*. Seriously.
This one's all about the fruit. Strawberries, plums, blackcurrants and stewed rhubarb run the show whilst a vibrant acid, soft tannin and herbaceous, earthy spice add a little extra something to wrap your lips around. Perfect for large pours and long nights. To be honest, there's an element of danger when it comes to this wine. The kind of bottle that goes from three quarters full to completely empty in seemingly no time. Oh and one last thing... if you happened to drop this one in an esky for 20 minutes before you drank it, it would probably be really good, but as wine professionals we could never suggest that 😉

You’d pay $27 full price.

1x Eminence Novella Pinot Noir 2023

Red — Pinot Noir

Whitlands — Australia

Victoria's High Country produces some of the states best produce, wine inclusive. For the foodies among you, this luscious alpine area - bordering Beechworth is a 'must visit.' For those less inclined to travel, take trip there through this bright beauty!
This wine is enormous fun - light, bright, sappy, floral, confected, a little bunch. There is complexity for days. The fruit weight is complete and satisfying and, while it remains light bodied (as pinot classically and varietally should) it feels complete and satisfying on the palate. There is bricky, savoury back palate nuance which puts a nice little bow on the mid-palate fruit, punctuating it and acting as a counterpoint to the pep of the acidity. It feels – and is – expertly crafted at every step.

You’d pay $35 full price.
